Introducing Michaela Ečerová

Let us continue with the presentation of key members of our team. Michaela is our expert on "hunting" Risk management, CRM, financial or collection analysts. What did she tell us about herself?

1. Tell us about yourself
My name is Michaela Ecerová and currently, I’m finishing my Master's studies at the University of Economics, Prague. During my studies, I worked part-time in a coffee shop and a bridal salon. Everyday contact with customers has given me real-life experience, which I see as a great advantage. I have always been interested in HR and so I am very glad I can gain more experience in this field precisely at Personal Connect.
 
2. What motivates and inspires you?
I find my motivation and inspiration in people around me – I’m lucky to have so many friends with diverse and interesting personalities. It is also very important to me to keep on educating myself and learning new things. In the moment, I have resumed taking French, which I have started studying while at high school. Moreover, I would like to get a deeper understanding of IT. 
 
3. You have worked for Personal Connect as a consultant for more than a year now. What is it that you like about recruitment?
I like to meet and get to know interesting and inspiring people, which for me, a consultant, became a daily occurrence. It has presented me with a rather fascinating and broad view of various positions in a company. And of course, I’m always delighted when we manage to connect the right person with a suitable company and vice versa.  
 
4. What do you consider to be most crucial for finding a candidate for a complicated position?
I see it as a combination of many factors. Our understanding of the position, its characteristics and requirements comes first and foremost. Although, I see our getting to know the clients themselves as equally important, since many times, the way people “click together” is more relevant than the combination of all the hard skills.  
 
5. You are currently finishing your Master’s degree at the University of Economics in Prague, focusing on culture and non-profit sector. In which activities did you partake? 
During my studies, I helped an organisation called Foundation Neziskovky.cz, which is trying to professionalise the non-profit sector through various courses, counselling and consulting. For example, I helped with the organisation of a competition called “Žihadlo roku” – a competition for the best community service campaign of the year. Right now, organisation “Stará škola Vrané nad Vltavou” lies close to my hear; I also write about it in my Master’s thesis. 
 
6. During your free time, you like to cook. Can you share with us, how to bake a good cake? What is the guarantee of success?
You need quality and fresh ingredients. After that, experimentation and creativity will have no limits :)
